Gentle Yoga

Offered at the work site, in homes, at schools, or in studios

Many people think they can’t do yoga.  This class is perfect for those who want a softer, more nurturing, slower-paced, and relaxing practice. This is a great class for beginners, seniors, people experiencing injuries or chronic illness — and everyone interested in exploring a gentle practice.

The class approach includes carefully orchestrated, graduated movements, and well-measured poses presented in an easy to follow, accessible manner with plenty of time for modifications. There will be plenty of time to focus on breathing and repetition so that the practice is simple to do and easy to remember.

When you feel the need to recharge and rejuvenate yourself, this compassionate, non-competitive class will provide a soothing respite.

Urban Zen

Offered at the work site, in homes

Deeply heal and transform yourself with the integrative modalities of Urban Zen, a system where eastern healing techniques, yoga therapy, essential oil therapy, nutrition and contemplative care are used in a holistic approach. This program includes restorative yoga poses, Reiki (a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation), breath awareness, essential oils and guided meditation. Urban Zen treats the whole person, including; body, emotions, mind, and spirit, while creating many beneficial effects that help include relaxation and reset the body’s natural balance.  This program is perfect if you are recovering from an illness or just need to be treated with TLC, and is designed to optimize well-being in your everyday life to enhance overall health and happiness.

Laughter Yoga

Offered at the work site, community locations

1560663_537615506335941_1369525555_nHow would you like to laugh like a child again?  Laughter yoga combines simple laughing exercises and gentle yoga breathing (no poses) to help enhance overall health and happiness.  Science shows the body doesn’t know the difference between fake and real laughter, so this practice provides both physiological and psychological benefits.   Come enjoy yourself and bring out your inner child allows you to play as a grownup.
